Starting Off

And so begins yet another attempt on my part at a photoblog. Hopefully this will be a place where I can share some of the photos I take, some of the neat things I see and where anyone can make fun of my poor spelling and punctuation.

Dr. Starr

First up is a portrait of Dr. Douglas Starr. Dr. Starr is a professor of Agricultural Communications and Journalism and is legendary among Battalion staffers for his daily critique of The Batt. Two weeks ago I had the honor of photographing him for a personal feature which will appear in this year’s Aggieland. It was great to finally meet someone who I had heard so much about and he was a true pleasure to take a portrait of. It’s the people that make A&M the place that it is.

Hopefully, this is the first post of many. More to come tomorrow.

    That’s pretty epic.

The color balance is really nice.

Where is that taken…I like all of this by the way and plan to mock you about your grammar often.

Hey Fogg! I’m loving the light. I assume hotshoe flashes – what modifiers?
